ChloƩ's new Signature Water
At the start of the 90s, Issey Miyake challenged all the codes of current perfumery by imagining āL'Eau d'Isseyā. As pure and light as a drop of water, āEau d'Isseyā is an unexpected composition. If it is not a perfume like the others, āEau d'Isseyā quickly becomes like a familiar sweetness essential to feminine beauty.
The water of Issey, when the East meets the West
The water of Issey is limpid and universal. Issey Miyake is mainly inspired by nature, he imagines waterfalls in the middle of which floral and woody scents are discreetly intertwined. āEau d'Isseyā is like an exceptional aquatic floral trail where the lotus, symbol of the East and the rose, symbol of the West, meet. Issey Miyake's deep wish was to create a perfume "clear as water, the smell of a mist produced by a waterfall, mingling with the scents of flowers and the scent of spring woods" . In 1990, the fashion was with aquatic notes. However, as soon as it was released, āEau d'Isseyā became a cult perfume, adored by many women. Despite its apparent simplicity, āEau d'Isseyā is a real olfactory upheaval.
Eau d'Issey, sober and light fragrances
āL'Eau d'Isseyā opens with notes of lotus associated with those of freesia and cyclamen for even more freshness. The floral heart is filled with carnation, lily of the valley, peony and lily. The base is impregnated with precious woods with disturbing accords of musks and osmanthus⦠A composition as unique as it is unexpected. In order to contain this exceptional fragrance, a bottle was needed to match⦠A slender silhouette with clean lines. Naturalness and sobriety that lets the color of Eau d'Issey shine through. The cover is in satin silver for a little more refinement. At its top, a crystalline marble brings its final touch. Fresh, sober and delicate, the bottle is just like the perfume, surprisingly obvious.
While the trend is for aquatic notes, Issey Miyake imagines a composition that will revolutionize perfumery "Eau d'Issey". As simple as a drop of water flowing delicately on the skin, āEau d'Isseyā is nonetheless a real olfactory revolution. Issey Miyake wished here, a meeting between the East and the West, by judiciously combining the lotus and the rose. More than surprising, āL'Eau d'Isseyā amazes with its incredible simplicity. Deeply avant-garde, Issey Miyake's fragrance very quickly becomes a myth, a perfume that we can no longer do without. Building on this success, Issey Miyake invented many variations of Issey water, each more true than the next.
