The Night of the Electric Blue Man, the dark side of the Yves Saint-Laurent man is even more intense

The news has just fallen and the Yves Saint-Laurent house presents a new derivative of its cult perfume: La Nuit de l’Homme. In 2021, it becomes electrified and becomes more vibrant and intense than before. Presented in a bottle with new electric blue tones, it is called The Night of the Electric Blue Man and depicts the dark and bewitching side of the modern-day gentleman! With him, opposites attract and Yves Saint-Laurent’s chiaroscuro play gives birth to a particularly explosive fragrance. So how about indulging in this new shock wave?

Yves Saint-Laurent electrifies La Nuit de l’Homme

It all began in 2006, when the Yves Saint-Laurent house made a perfume called L’Homme, the perfect embodiment of a charismatic gentleman, possessing a sensual and magnetic charm. Then, the creator decided to celebrate the other face of modern man, more nonchalant, and endowed with a more electrifying seduction. The man then went from a sort of refined dandy to a bad boy… A businessman by day, he transformed into a completely different character once night came. In 2021, its part of mystery is further accentuated and the trail of its perfume becomes all the more intense.

The vibrant and oriental breath of The Night of the Electric Blue Man

To bewitch us, Yves Saint-Laurent relies on an oriental and aromatic fragrance. Here, everything is tension and the contrasts create a real shock wave. It all starts with the freshness of spicy cardamom. This is associated with a peppery ginger, known by the way to be one of the most aphrodisiac ingredients available. Then, the heart of La Nuit de l’Homme Bleu Electrique is enriched with Mediterranean and aromatic lavender. Note that this is Diva lavender, a variety specifically harvested in France for the Yves Saint-Laurent house. In a woody and virile spirit, La Nuit de l’Homme Bleu Electrique ends with cedar wood. As described by Dominique Ropion, perfumer in charge of its creation,

When the iconic hexagonal bottle is embellished with an electric blue

Like all the perfumes in the La Nuit de l’Homme collection, La Nuit de l’Homme Bleu Electrique is presented in a glass cylinder, topped by an imposing hexagonal cap. Its opaque black cap is intended to be as robust as it is masculine. Its glass, meanwhile, is now illuminated with an electric blue gradient, evoking the vibration of a neon in the night. The pure lines of this bottle are underlined by a gradient, like an adrenaline rush arousing desire. The Night of the Electric Blue Man is already available in three vaporizers of different sizes. It is presented in bottles of 40, 60 or 100 ml.
