Mr Burberry Indigo, latest 100% London creation

The perfect embodiment of the Burberry style and interpretation of the London men’s wardrobe, the Mr Burberry perfume saw the light of day in 2016. It quickly conquered men with its natural elegance combined with a slight touch of irreverence. Then, in 2017, it became an Eau de Parfum , enriched with a more tenacious scent, both refined and aromatic, evocative of the London universe once night has fallen. Even today, Mr Burberry has a new face. He becomes Mr Burberry Indigo and is directly inspired by the English seaside.

Mr Burberry Indigo, British classicism offers itself a new freedom

Mr Burberry Indigo is very different from its predecessors. If its elders evoked the swarming and urban universe of London, it rather echoes a maritime scent and an air breeze. It is a concentrate of freedom and liveliness. This version turns to a more energetic theme and will seduce you with its particularly energizing aura. What’s more, it is an ideal juice for the spring season. Mr Burberry Indigo contains aromatic and woody flavors associated with the clarity of citrus fruits.

It is both hectic while preserving a certain restraint. It first opens with a fresh lemon flavor associated with an aromatic scent of rosemary. Its freshness is preserved in its heart thanks to the addition of mint. Violet, for its part, reinforces its powdery elegance. Finally, Mr Burberry Indigo ends with a more pronounced and virile masculinity of oak moss still coated with sweet amber. Everything was crafted by the talented perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.

Josh Whitehouse, face of Mr Burberry Indigo

To embody the image of this new perfume, the Burberry house has set its sights on Josh Whitehouse , who became the brand’s official muse in 2017. A 27-year-old British actor and musician, he was discovered in Nothern Soul, the edifying story of two friends whose horizons crossed thanks to the discovery of American black soul in 1974. His dark eyes and his muscular body covered with tattoos already make more than one crack! This time, it was simply dressed in the black Burberry trench coat that he was photographed on the English seaside by photographer Alasdair McLellan.

Burberry’s famous trench coat in the form of a bottle

Echoing the maritime world of its scent, the new Mr Burberry is aptly named Indigo. This is inscribed on an elegant bottle paying tribute to the brand’s trench coat. It must be said that this is the brand’s most famous couture piece. Many elements of this bottle refer to this jacket. Its cap is reminiscent of its buttons. A gabardine knot is also attached to its collar, echoing the fabric created by Thomas Burberry over a century ago. Mr Burberry Indigo is a visual dive into the history of the brand. When it comes to design, it is the perfect embodiment of classic and distinguished British elegance.
