L’Amour by Lalique is a woody musky floral fragrance for women.

A Japanese prince selected René Lalique to create the ceremonial glass door for the living room of his palace in Tokyo. This door is now on display in the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum Teien, as a masterpiece of perfect creation, both technically and stylistically.

The motif of the woman with glittering feather wings which can be found on the door is the inspiration for the new fragrance which is to be alluring, enchanting and surrounding a woman.

The top notes of the citrus scent introduce elements of bergamot combined with buds and flowers of roses and neroli. The heart is created as a saga mixing floral tuberose, gardenia and jasmine petals. The base created as a blend of cedar, sandalwood and creamy musk.

The perfume is available in a bottle inspired by the details of the ceremony door in Tokyo. The body of the bottle is glass, cube-shaped with ornaments resembling the details that René Lalique used when decorating the door.
