Lacoste Original: The first globally successful fragrance Lacoste

These inspirations are very often non-conformist. Serge Lutens masters the unconventional register better than anyone. If these perfumes are among the most prestigious judges in the entire sector, Serge Lutens amazes by his provocation and his avant-garde. Once again, he therefore offers us his mischievous and confusing vision of his profession and gives birth to a perfume called La Couche du Diable.

La Couche du Diable, welcome to the den of evil!

La Couche du Diable by Serge Lutens is a unisex fragrance that can be worn just as much by a man as by a woman. On the other hand, it is necessarily intended for people who are not cold-eyed and who like to surprise! Evoking absolute evil in a perfume, you had to dare! Well, Serge Lutens the fairy! It must be said that this is not his first attempt and that the names of some of his fragrances are enough to give shivers down your spine: Baptism of Fire, Cannibal, Flame Breaker or even The Incendiary ... Such is the black and psychedelic universe of Serge Lutens! To top it off, the designer also matches his designs with intriguing quotes. The Devil's Diaper is described as follows: “Calling upon the devil no longer implies hell. The Earth already provides for it. 'A big fire' n ' is more to my liking this day. Preferring the embers to the flames, my remorse regains the night. ", To which he adds" How to invite oneself to the coronation of Satan when the one whom he invites has not yet tasted of sin? Oud and cistus compose here the layer of a first remorse as demonic as it is sumptuous ”. Do these few sentences leave you perplexed and you would like to learn more? Unfortunately, Serge Lutens is not used to giving more details. He much prefers to give free rein to everyone's interpretation! a first remorse as demonic as it is sumptuous ”. The two major ingredients of La Couche du Diable

For once, in reality, Serge Lutens was rather talkative… He left us a clue as to the composition of his new perfume. Thus, its fragrance revolves around two main ingredients: oud wood and cistus labdanum. Oud wood makes La Couche du Diable a prestigious perfume, as it is one of the most expensive and rare materials of the perfumer's entire palette. This wood, coming from South-East Asia and India, gives birth to a very fragrant and subtle aromatic resin. It gives La Couche du Diable a warm, woody undertone, somewhat reminiscent of sandalwood. For a more amber effect, Serge Lutens added cistus labdanum, a more amber and animal ingredient, emblematic of oriental fragrances.
