The two major ingredients of La Couche du Diable

Thus, its fragrance revolves around two main ingredients: oud wood and cistus labdanum. Oud wood makes La Couche du Diable a prestigious perfume, as it is one of the most expensive and rare materials of the perfumer's entire palette. This wood, coming from South-East Asia and India, gives birth to a very fragrant and subtle aromatic resin. It gives La Couche du Diable a warm, woody undertone, somewhat reminiscent of sandalwood.
