When the night offers its mysterious powers: "The Night of Man"
Reinterpreting an original perfume such as “L'Homme” released in 2006 was necessarily a daring gamble. It was necessary to transpose a new universe, a new image much more obscure and elusive than the original juice while not disappointing the followers. Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, Pierre Wargnye, three great noses of current perfumery, were commissioned to offer a deep and captivating fragrance to Yves Saint-Laurent while retaining the elegance of the first juice: a bet won, “La Nuit de L'Homme ”was born in 2009 for our greatest pleasure.
Of course, in order to represent this obscure image of a "luminous" man, which character would have been better suited than the handsome and dark Vincent Cassel to be the muse of this "Night of Man"? Thus the visuals and advertisements will take place in overplayed black and white to create aesthetic and elegantly retro lighting effects. Thanks to its first muse, the perfume has a "face", a personality apart… The muses of "La Nuit de l'Homme" who will succeed Vincent Cassel, Garrett Hedlund and Vinnie Woolston, will also offer beautiful dualities between charms of irreverent beauty and the dark eye of a tender-hearted seducer with whom any man could identify.

Each Yves Saint-Laurent perfume reflects one of the facets of his character. “The Night of the Man” is of course a vibrant tribute to the complex and modern masculinity of a Man who wants to be playful and charming while being sensitive and secret, deeply “dark”.
The bottle is therefore in the image of the dualities of the fragrance: the shades of black of the thick and fleshy bottle evoke the elegance of a smocking but also the chiaroscuro of a virility not always easy to wear. As for the nut-shaped cap or the shape of the bottle, they of course refer to the first opus "The Man" which used the very trendy industrial side to propagate images of modernity.
