Nina the Elixir, the rare essence of a love potion

Today, however, the Nina Ricci house wanted to refocus on the origins of this perfume. The brand has just given birth to a brand new fragrance in the range, called Nina Rouge. Be warned: this unique essence is a concentrate of gluttony that you will not be able to resist!

The return of Nina Ricci's iconic apple

Like many Nina Ricci fragrances, Nina Rouge comes in an apple-shaped bottle. After all, what could be more evocative than this fruit to symbolize temptation? This time, its old pink color has faded in favor of a dazzling red. Its lacquering is absolutely dazzling, only fueling women's passion for this essence. As a reminder, the apple made its very first appearance at Nina Ricci in 1952, for the creation of the Parfum Fille d'Eve. Today, a novelty seizes its bottle: the latter seems to have been bitten on its front face, as if women had not been able to resist its temptation! A small fabric ribbon is also tied at her collar, soberly bearing the initials of Nina Ricci.

The excessively Gourmand smell of Nina Rouge

Like the very first Nina, the new Nina Rouge owes its existence to perfumer Olivier Cresp. Here, the designer has clearly chosen to ride the trend for sweet fragrances. He made an essence "excessively, predominantly and radically Gourmand". For this, he first bet on the smell of fruit. Nina Rouge opens with a refreshing and tangy accord of raspberry and lemon. The result is a juicy, lively and airy breath. Then, the heart of Nina Rouge becomes more floral. It is enriched with spicy ginger flower, while softening with more velvety gardenia. Little by little, gluttony takes over. Nina Rouge ends with a base of vanilla and crunchy caramel. These two ingredients give birth to the very sweet signature of this irresistible juice.

Estella Boersma, face of the new Nina Rouge

Of course, this new olfactory release is already accompanied by an advertisement. On screen, Nina Rouge is played by model Estella Boersma, already featured in Les Belles de Nina, alongside Barbara Palvin (Bella) and Sonia Ben Ammar (Luna). The television campaign for the perfume Nina Rouge is played on the playful title Comic Strip by Serge Gainsbourg. The universe is less magical and dreamlike than in the past. On the other hand, the light and childish spirit of this perfume is multiplied. So, how about rediscovering the charms of childhood thanks to Nina Rouge?
