In 2016, Givenchy decided to take us back in time. Indeed, the story of Gentleman began in 1975. Hubert de Givenchy then presented to the public a powerful fragrance in total opposition to the trends of his time. Also, it was reinterpreted in 2013 to become the iconic Gentlemen Only that we know today. Well, know that Givenchy will soon present a new version of this perfumed collection that has become cult. Gentlemen Only Absolute will make its appearance by August 2016.

The spicy intensity of Gentlemen Only Absolute

If Gentlemen Onlywas already presented as being an elegant perfume in all circumstances, the new Gentlemen Only Absolute is advertised as “the best of the Gentlemen of Givenchy”. This one displays a particularly strong scent. Nevertheless, the latter is nonetheless very refined and perfectly structured. Gentlemen Only Absolute takes off on a fresh and lively scent of bergamot, a hybrid fruit resulting from the cross between sour orange and lemon. Then, its scent evolves towards a heart particularly loaded with spices. Cinnamon reveals its warm, woody, sweet and powdery aromas, almost similar to those of gingerbread. Then, saffron, one of the most expensive ingredients, makes its appearance. If its use dates back to the year 1500 BC in perfumery, this ingredient is becoming rarer in our contemporary fragrances. However, its scent has many facets. Gentlemen Only Absolute appears, thanks to it, at the same time honeyed, citrusy, floral, spicy and leathery. What’s more, the hot and dry aspect of nutmeg further reinforces its power. Nonetheless, Gentlemen Only Absolute mellows down deep down. Its trail unveils creamy and velvety sandalwood scents. Finally, vanilla sublimates the whole with its suave and sensual aspect. Its trail unveils creamy and velvety sandalwood scents. The face of the new Givenchy

Gentlemen Only Absolute is then contained in an easily identifiable bottle. Indeed, it is very strongly inspired by the container of its elders. Its typical English flask shape is still present. Nevertheless, Gentlemen Only Absolute now has a black color.opaque and matt. This gives it a very contemporary look. Plus, it’s a bit like Gentlemen Only Absolute donned an elegant house suit. It is decorated with white stitching and a red label on which is affixed his name in a very elegant white writing. However, this sublime perfume would be nothing without a muse at the height of its charm. Once again, Givenchy therefore called on the attractive Simon Baker. It must be said that this handsome blond perfectly embodies the English gentleman with the sparkling and devastating smile. What is more, it is unanimous among women. As Givenchy explains, “Simon Baker embodies to perfection, in the city as on the screen, the modern gentleman, spontaneous, a bit iconoclastic and endowed with an innate sense of elegance …” In other words , he is the male ideal of the twenty-first century. After all, it did not take less to sublimate this magnificent perfume.
