Chloé Absolu de Parfum celebrates 10 years of the Chloé Signature fragrance
Maison Chloé has a rather particular history in the field of perfumery. Indeed, after years of absence, she decided to make her big comeback in the olfactory world, in 2008 . It was done thanks to her Chloe perfume. Today, as if to celebrate the 10 years of this star essence, the brand has decided to develop a new version that is more prestigious than in the past. The Chloé brand presents Chloé Absolu de Parfum. Obviously, this new juice is reminiscent of its elder. However, it wants to be more refined and deeper than ever. This limited edition can be discovered from October 15, 2017.
The new feminine scent of Chloé Absolu de Parfum
Chloé Absolu de Parfum is a fragrance that is very strongly inspired by its predecessor. Moreover, it was made by the same perfumer, the talented Michel Almairac. These two scented versions have in common that they use Damascus rose as the main ingredient in their composition. Grown in Turkey and Bulgaria, it is one of the most widely used flowers in women’s perfumery.
Its smell is all at the same time: fresh, floral, lemony, fruity… On the occasion of the release of Chloé Absolu de Parfum , it is nevertheless associated with its close cousin: the May rose. This plant cultivated in Grasse gives a floral breath with a warmer, more honeyed, slightly spicy and waxy scent. It is a prestigious ingredient and exclusively reserved for luxury perfumery. These two flowers are coated here with vanilla, which only increases the seductive facet of this fragrance. Finally, the patchouli reinforces the depth of the whole. It closes this composition with a more chypre breath, at the same time powerful, earthy and woody.
The return of Chloé’s iconic bottle
Chloé Absolu de Parfum is delivered to us in a bottle very similar to that of its predecessor. This glass bottle is a perfect combination of classicism and modernity. Its timeless bottle was created by designer Patrick Veillet and the polishing of its glass is inspired by the sleeve of a Chloé blouse. Its silhouette is geometric and an oval cap sits proudly above its cubic shape. A silver metal plate adorns this bottle. However, for Chloé Absolu de Perfume, the transparency of the glass in this container reveals a more golden juice than before. Another distinction: a beige grosgrain ribbon woven with gold thread is tied at its collar.
The other olfactory reinterpretations of the Chloé Signature perfume
If you are a fan of this olfactory collection, know that Chloé Signature exists in a whole bunch of different versions. In 2009, its scent was transformed into a fresher and lighter Eau de Toilette but also into a much more intense Eau de Parfum Intense. Chloé Fleur de Perfume, meanwhile, reveals the scent of a bouquet of roses associated with verbena, raspberry and cherry blossom.
