A perfume reflecting the world of Balmain
The style of the house is initially Hubert's style, chic and refined, but he has been able to adapt according to fashions and eras. This enhances her charm and makes her even more captivating. The Givenchy woman is unpredictable here, she hides certain facets of her personality. The cheeky notes of Extragance Amarige
It was perfumer Michel Girard who was in charge of developing an impertinent composition. Like its predecessor, “Extravagance Amarige” has a floral-woody side, but its construction is much more structured and the result is completely different. The start of "Extravagance Amarige" is sparkling thanks to the green mandarin. This is associated with the marigold flower, also called Indian rose, and the violet flower. An unexpected touch of black pepper then spices up the floral notes. The heart is rich in white flowers, it blossoms between jasmine, orange blossom and purple wisteria. This bright bouquet meets here a surprising ingredient, nettle! This symbolizes the strong and "spicy" temperament of the Givenchy woman. The base meets a touch of wild strawberry and iris, to then associate woody and enveloping notes with cedarwood and sandalwood. The bottle is slender and elongated, it impertinently revisits the bottle of its eldest. A soft pink label displays the name of the perfume as well as a transparent cover displays an undisguised luxurious side.
In 2007, “Extravagance Amarige” joined the precious “Les Parfums Mithyques” collection by Givenchy.
