L'Eau de Kenzo for Women: The luminosity of pure water ...
These were the words of Issey Miyake to present his very first perfume, in 1992. Then, two years later, he created his male counterpart. Even today, these essences are widely talked about. In this context, Issey Miyake reveals yet another new variation. Focus on L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey.
Issey Super Major Water, a blend of strength and purity
L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey is a perfume that marvelously transcribes all the richness of water. It is similar to man's fascination with this material. It must be said that without water, no life would be possible, enough to inspire one of the greatest perfumers of our generation! Issey Super Majeure Water is an essence synonymous with contrasts. It combines strength and purity, tumult and serenity, masculine and feminine. Very charged with virility, this fragrance nevertheless preserves a certain tenderness. Issey Super Majeure Water seems to have been shaped according to the encounters. It is a bit as if the sea water evolves and takes on scents by coming into contact with other fragrant ingredients on its journey. The result is an essence synonymous with perpetual movement, polishing woods and plants to the extreme. L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey is a fragrance full of ardor but all in balance and purity.
When the sea meets the land
L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey is a woody and aquatic fragrance. This time, it is indeed ocean water, thus releasing a certain salinity. Nevertheless, white woods are also another major ingredient in this scent. Other elements invite themselves into this composition no longer in the background. Sage and rosemary give it a typically masculine aromatic scent. The darker patchouli gives structure to the whole and adds a bit of mystery to it. A duo of black salt and vanilla amplifies the sensuality of L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey. Finally, the whole is softened with amber and cashmere wood. On the purely aesthetic side, L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey is presented in the emblematic bottle of Issey Miyake, revisited with more modernity. His imposing stature says a lot about his masculinity. Its glass comes in a bluish gradient bringing two opposing colors into contact. Finally, L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey is topped with an imposing frosted metal cap, as if the water had passed through there to sculpt this visual. There is therefore a perfect harmony between the aesthetic aspect of this perfume and the scent it contains. Everything is available in two different capacities, 50 and 100 ml.
