The sustained and emblematic freshness of Lancôme
It was perfumers Jean Gréget and Robert Gonnon who created the Ô de Lancôme and who made it the most famous chypre, citrus and green fragrance in the history of perfumery. It begins with a citrus blend including lemon, bergamot and tangerine. Nevertheless, the lightness of this trio is embellished with the somewhat spicy bitterness of petitgrain. Then, basil, rosemary and coriander come into play and bring to the whole a more aromatic and vegetal facet. This continues in the heart of the Ô de Lancôme thanks to the presence of honeysuckle. The jasmine then brings a more opulent richness to this essence before being relayed by a deeper and woody base. It also contains oak moss, sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver.
