Play for Her Intense, a whirlwind of emotions

His name comes from the fact that he wanted a brand name that rhymes with "Place Vendôme" ... At Lancôme, innovation is always in order. More than 2,500 researchers work every day to find perfection, both in terms of makeup and fragrance. In 1995, the Lancôme brand unveiled “Poême”, a fragrance filled with poetic emotion.

Lancôme's poetic world

As its name proves, “Poême” is elaborated like poetry. We glimpse the soul of the poet, the feminine aura, the romantic presence of the sweetest of women. "Poême" lets convey many emotions, without saying anything. "Poême" is a perfume that is gradually tamed, it does not give way suddenly, and the woman who wears it will be in this image. “Poême” is the subtlety of poetic emotion mixed with serene femininity… A fragrance that inspires dreams. The “Poême” woman is a free, joyful, naturally beautiful and sensitive woman. In poetry, as in love, it is said that emotion arises from surprise and “Poême” is proof of this.

Poême's bouquet of flowers

“Poême” is like a bouquet of flowers designed to create feelings. If the scent of "Poême" could be defined in a few words, we could say that it is floral, round, opulent and powdery. The start of “Poême” is rather exotic since the lychee flower is associated with the Himalayan blue poppy. The heart is contrasted because it opposes the frosty aspect of the snow flower to the sunny aspect of the yellow mimosa. These flowers are joined by the datura flower which here offers a carnal and particularly captivating side, as well as by the orange blossom which brings luminosity and beauty. The base is sensual and voluptuous thanks to the presence of amber and vanilla notes. As for the bottle, it takes the form of a glass prism with cut sides. Transparent, the bottle lets the nectar appear. Amber in color, the latter wonderfully transcribes the warmth of its essence. The set is topped with a golden cabochon which brings a final touch of elegance.

In 1995, Lancôme presented “Poême”… A poetry for a floral composition as moving as a poem. A fragrance that is revealed little by little and that is tamed. A bouquet of flowers radiating beauty and luminosity that fills us with happiness. “Poême”, a fragrance that says a lot, without saying anything… Listen to it!
