In the process of developing this perfume Jean-Michel Duriez had in mind the tradition of the house and the French elegance that it symbolizes. Seventy years after the launch of their most famous perfume for Women, Rochas launches the Secret de Rochas which becomes a whole new modern vision of femininity.
The scent is based on a note of osmanthus mixed with fruit, moss and wood. The composition is chypre, it contains different nuances of flowers and fruits. The fragrance opens with notes of exotic mango, juicy peach and passion fruit with a touch of greenery. The heart promises an accord of osmanthus, jasmine and a “secret ingredient”. Its base creates a classic harmony of moss, patchouli and musk.
Its cylindrical bottle is elegant and colorful in shades of apricot. The packaging shows the famous quote from Marcel Rochas:
“You have to smell a woman before you have even seen her”. The face of the perfume Le Secret de Rochas is a French actress and singer, Cécile Cassel.
