Valentino Garavani is one of the greatest Italian fashion designers. He got noticed in 1967, thanks to the “Blanche” collection dedicated to Jackie Kennedy. It was in 1969 that Valentino opened his first ready-to-wear boutiques, in Milan and Rome, before moving to New York. Its style is sober and refined. It was in 1986 that Valentino created a perfume department, with a first fragrance simply called “Valentino”. In 2011, he presented an oriental-floral fragrance “Valentina”.

Valentina, all the Italian soul in a bottle

“Valentina” perfectly embodies the idea we have of life in Italy , of la dolce vita. This fragrance combines wonderfully modern ultra feminine couture style with timeless charm. “Valentina” immerses us in Italy, in Rome, the city where Valentino opened his first boutique. Art and tradition have all their importance here. “Valentina” connects the past with the present, tradition with novelty. “Valentina” is yesterday and today, a pure and timeless fragrance. The “Valentina” woman is sensual, soft, feminine and ultra refined.

It stands out thanks to its natural elegance. Both seductive and sophisticated, “Valentina” embodies her own style. “Valentina” seems to have been created to be the heroine of a story punctuated by legendary and historical references in Italian fashion. Each accord of the perfume reflects an aspect of the personality of “Valentina”.

Valentina’s bouquet of white flowers

It is a duo of perfumers, could not be more talented, Oliver Cresp and Alberto Morillas, who imagined the composition of “Valentina”. The latter begins with a flight of white Alba truffles. This is joined by bergamot as well as fruity notes. The heart of “Valentina” is a dazzling bouquet of white flowers, it is composed of jasmine, orange blossom and tuberose. “Valentina” then evolves towards an amber and woody background with the presence of cedar wood and amber. The bottle is sober and sophisticated. It uses the main codes of the Valentina line. The couture bottle is adorned with three flowers, white, ivory and nude. The glass is round, it is surmounted by a silver ring where a black pearl and a spray button are placed … Everything has been thought out here to offer this essence,

With “Valentina”, it is the city of Rome and all the traditions of Italian fashion that overwhelm us with emotions. “Valentina” is a subtle, elegant and ultra refined woman. The composition is sensual and sophisticated. It makes “Valentina” the timeless link between tradition and modernity … A prestigious essence.
