Fils de Joie is a fragrance from the Black Collection, which takes us back to the designer's own story. “Stones, life, mourning, characters, vices or quirks, what facets of ourselves will we make shine? »… This is the question answered by Serge Lutens in each of his Black Collection perfumes. Here, it is rather the first years of his life that we are talking about. As a reminder, Serge Lutens was born in Lille during the Second World War. Always tormented by the abandonment of his mother, he remembers his first years spent in the antechamber of a bar in the North. Fils de Joie is described as a sensual creation that plunges us into “the surreal atmosphere of a northern bar experienced through the eyes of a child”. The result is a nocturnal juice but radiating light, between joy and torment. Of course, in order not to derogate from tradition, and like all the creator's perfumes, Fils de Joie by Serge Lutens is accompanied by an enigmatic quote: "La rire awaits, a sentence, a word, a situation to declare itself." . Fils de Joie by Serge Lutens, a jasmine and luminous fragrance
Like all the perfumes in the Black Collection, Fils de Joie by Serge Lutens is presented in a transparent glass case, stretching towards the sky with elegance and refinement. Here it is covered with a black and red label, while being overhung by a small black ball-shaped cap. On the scent side, it is characterized by a floral and luminous breath. Jasmine is rich in many reliefs. It is at the same time tawny, spicy and sunny. In contact with ylang-ylang, it becomes more vegetal and narcotic. Musk, meanwhile, gives it a more animal and seductive part. Finally, a powdery lime tree is added to the whole to develop the more carnal part of this composition.
