Luna Rossa Black, an unexpected new freshness in a black lacquered bottle
If Luna Rossa Black embodies the seventh version of Luna Rossa, it must be recognized that his composition contrasts radically with that of his predecessors. Indeed, until then, lavender was always placed at the center of Prada perfumes. Today, she has totally disappeared. All that remains of Luna Rossa is her balance between freshness and power. The composition of Luna Rossa Black begins with a lively and floral association of angelica and bergamot. Coumarin then appears in its heart and brings it a more maritime freshness. It is accompanied by patchouli, a virile ingredient that paves the way for a more racy and dark trail. Finally, Luna Rossa Sport ends with a woody and amber base. This original juice is presented to us in the emblematic bottle of the Luna Rossa collection, previously designed by the Swiss designer Yves Béhar. The set is now fully lacquered in black. Its iconic red band has completely disappeared and two colors, one matt and the other more shimmering, clash for a most refined rendering.
The different Luna Rossa fragrances from Prada
Luna Rossa Black is far from being a first attempt at Prada. It all started with a woody Fougere dominated by lavender, in 2012. Then, in 2013, Luna Rossa Extrême emphasized a more crystalline bergamot punctuated with spices. In 2015, Luna Rossa Sport became more effervescent, accompanying lavender with ginger and juniper berries. In 2016, the Eau Sport emerged as the most energizing version of the range. Finally, the last Luna Rossa Carbon of 2017 expressed a more mineral freshness.
