The love story described by Cartier
This is why the Cartier house is named "The Jeweler of Kings or the King of Jewelers" ... Since then, Cartier has known how to diversify, mainly by creating perfumes as precious as they are innovative. In 2011, Cartier unveiled “Baiser Volé”, a floral-spicy fragrance built around the lily, the flower of Kings. In 2013, Cartier presented “Baiser Volé, the Essence of Perfume”, more concentrated than its predecessor. The ever-present lily reveals a suave fragrance with spicy and powdery accents.
The unique expression of a majestic flower
In 2013, “Baiser Volé” was built mainly around the lily, the royal and sovereign flower par excellence. This one is worked in its pure exaltation. The smell of the lily is therefore particularly sublimated. With "Baiser Volé, l'Essence", the lily is reproduced in its entirety, that is to say with its fresh, floral and powdery facets. Here, the lily really shows all its personality. If its pistil is not lacking in audacity, the petals are intended to be velvety. As for the stem, it reveals its crunchy aspect full of greenery. “Baiser Volé, l'Essence” reveals an uncontrollable passion, its charm is irresistible. The oriental-spicy composition, however, discloses another star ingredient, Bourbon vanilla.
Baiser Volé, Essence, when lily meets vanilla
It is Mathilde Laurent, who had the heavy task of making this little gem. She was also the one who imagined “Baiser Volé”. "Baiser Volé, l'Essence" begins with notes of Bourbon vanilla, luminous and oriental. The lily then offers its powdered petals. Then, it is the lily leaves that reveal all their secrets filled with greenery. Vanilla envelops everything in its smooth and sweet notes. There is no doubt that this fragrance wanted to honor the lily and vanilla in all their respective beauties. As Mathilde Laurent explains, “In this essence of perfume, you can smell a lily in full bloom. The open flower offers us its sensual and vanilla scent, yet remaining alive and light ”. "Baiser Volé, l'Essence" is a concentrate of passion, it is the unique expression of a majestic and elusive flower. The bottle is very elegant and refined, it evokes the shape of a powder compact adorned with gold. It lets its juice show through, also golden in color… A little gem.
Cartier presents “Baiser Volé, l'Essence” two years after “Baiser Volé”. If he wants to be more concentrated than his eldest, “Baiser Volé, l'Essence” always honors the lily, flower of kings. She adds, however, vanilla to infuse it with an oriental side. Both come together to offer a breathtaking fragrance of happiness.
