La Panthère Evening Edition, Cartier's iconic panther evening version
Also, she inspired a very first perfume at the Cartier house, in 1987. Three decades later, it returned with a decidedly modern and paradoxical trail. This juice was then described as floral and tawny . After a huge success, it was revisited in an Extract version, in 2014, this time emphasizing the animal facets of the original composition while enriching them with the iris. In 2015, La Panthère metamorphosed again into a Light Water. The whole was thus illuminated with tiare flowers. Well, it looks like this majestic animal has transformed once again. Cartier has just announced the release of La Panthère Noir Absolu, a more oriental and woody juice than ever.
The new intense variant of the Cartier emblem
La Panthère 2014 is a juice created by Mathilde Laurent. The latter then seems to have designed a perfume in her image. Indeed, she is a young woman with a strong temperament that her peers qualify as "rebellious and sensitive". Also, this is exactly what it was about in the first version of this perfume. Logically, and following such a success, Cartier therefore called on her again to create La Panthère Noir Absolu. This fragrance revolves around three main materials. It contains gardenia, a small white flower native to China and also called Cape jasmine. This is reserved exclusively for high-end feminine creations. It brings a more assertive character to floral juices. Also, as if to confirm the prestige of this perfume, Cartier also added oud wood to the La Panthère Noir Absolu recipe. A material highly prized in the East, it is one of the most expensive in the world and gives off a woody and animal trail. What is more, its very sensual aspect is here reinforced by the presence of musk. Everything is suitable for an assertive and determined woman who never lacks elegance.
The Cartier sculpture bottle
Of course, on the occasion of this revisit, Cartier kept its bottle of yesteryear, and for good reason… This one is a true masterpiece. It is as captivating as it is surprising. Thus, it is a thick block of glass and sculpted like a precious stone. This one lets us guess the face of a panther in geometric shapes. Its head rests on a square, angular jaw. The whole is transparent and thus reveals to us the orange hue of its juice. This color is warmer and stronger than before. Likewise, its metal cap has now given way to opaque black lacquering. This bottle once again demonstrates the mastery of the Cartier house. It is a real technical feat associated with an unparalleled aesthetic taste.
